It has now almost become a tradition around the league for teams to go all out when the new season's schedule is released. The Chargers have become known for their infamous posts, especially this year when they broke the internet with their parody of The Sims to announce their 2024 schedule.

Before that, the social team made a thread comparing their opponents to Pop-Tarts with unique flavors. Of course, it's all meant to be fun and games and not taken seriously. But one former Raiders offensive lineman took exception to that and proceeded to embarrass himself on Twitter/X.

Considering the Las Vegas team is one of the Chargers' biggest rivals, being in the same division and all, the Pop-Tarts comparison was a bit harsher than others on the list. They were paired with "Frosted Garbage" flavor, and boy, did Jermaine Eluemunor get heated about it.

In a post that has since been deleted, the now New York Giant responded to the post by reminding LA how badly they lost to Las Vegas last season.

"If I remember correctly last season The Raiders (Including Myself) beat that a** on National TV and put 63 up on y’all’s garbage team. We literally had a 350 pound Nose Tackle score on y’all like cmon lmfao"

Spending three years with the Raiders clearly had Eluemunor develop a hatred for the divisional rival, hence his scathing post. It's understandable to a degree because the NFL is very competitive, but the Chargers' post is no different than any other team's attempt to troll their opponents.

So why take such offense to something so silly?

Unfortunately for him, he is no longer with the AFC West team and won't get to play the Chargers twice a year. He has since signed with the Giants, but his disdain for his former team's rival seems to still be very relevant.
