Every year, the Chargers run laps around the NFL. Just dominate the field. And just because they don't do it "on the football field" during "their football games" doesn't make it any less important. Because mid-May is when the Chargers really shine.
The NFL schedule is here, and so are the Team Tweets. And the only important Team Tweet is the Chargers' Team Tweet (although the Titans are giving them a run for their money). Every year, I think to myself that surely their social team will miss eventually, and yet they never have. But one year they might!
Here's 2024's in all its weird, Very Logged On glory:
should we REALLY make our schedule release video in the sims?

Imagine trying to explain this to someone in 10 years. Finding the right blend of nostalgia and still-relevant pop culture references on the internet is way trickier than it sounds, and yet the Chargers consistently pull it off. Do you know how in the weeds you need to be to understand that this video references the Titans' 2023 schedule release? Or the ChiefsAholic moment? That QR code over the Raiders' fan is even its own bit; in a way, it's sort of exhausting.
Their schedule announcement was made for Chargers fan, but that video is made for the internet.
