As part of our ongoing LA Chargers free agency coverage here at Bolt Beat, we have been diving into the different possibilities for the team. One of the possibilities is to target players from fellow AFC West teams to accomplish two things: help deplete a rival's roster while bolstering the Chargers' roster as well.

Thus far we have looked into free agents that the Chargers could steal from the Chiefs and Broncos. Today, we are looking at the potential Las Vegas Raiders free agents that the Bolts could lure to LA.

This would be backward from last offseason as the Raiders essentially became the new-look Chargers. After bringing in former defensive coordinator Gus Bradley (who is no longer with the team), the Raiders brought in various Chargers in the likes of Casey Hayward, Denzel Perryman, Tyron Johnson, Darius Philon and others.

The Chargers are not going to get full payback as there are not many Raiders free agents that make a lot of sense for LA.

There are only 2 free agents that the LA Chargers could realistically steal from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Whether it is because the player is not great, does not fit the team, or is too old, there are some notable free agents that simply would not make sense for LA. Perhaps the biggest name of that bunch is Zay Jones, who in theory, would give the Bolts another speedster to unleash Justin Herbert's arm.

The problem is that PFF projects Jones to get a three-year, $18 million contract this offseason. The Bolts would be foolish to pay $6 million to a receiver who is going to be the WR4 at the absolute most. Instead, the Chargers should turn their focus to two other Raiders.
