Chargers bold prediction: Chargers win by two scores

The Chargers have only won two games in the season, and one of them was by 20 points. But of course, beating the Miami Dolphins by 20 points is no achievement. All the other games have been close losses or an overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts.

More from Bolt Beat

The Chargers enter the game as underdogs against the spread for a second consecutive week, so why would they win by two scores? Almost all fans would agree that the Chargers weren’t supposed to be this bad, and injuries and silly mistakes have misled people into believing there’s no talent on this team.

That is a misconception. The Chargers still possess one of the most star-studded teams in the league. There are a few different reasons the Chargers have lost five games, but lack of talent isn’t one.

One can blame it on the injuries, blame it on the coaching staff or blame it on silly mistakes, but not on the lack of talent.

Week 8 at Soldier Field is where it will all click once again. Philip Rivers won’t commit costly turnovers or bad decisions, and the defense will be aggressive and force turnovers to stun the home team and the NFL world and remind them why the Chargers were such a feared team before everything went wrong.

These are the bold predictions for Week 8’s tilt against the Bears. Check out next week’s article to check how these fared.
