The 2019 NFL draft is over but the process to sign new players is ongoing.
There are still hundreds of players who weren’t selected and now those players will be hoping that one of the 32 teams in the league contacts them for a shot to continue their careers. All teams can have up to 90 players on their roster when training camp begins, so many teams will sign as many as 20 undrafted rookies.
It seems that, at least with the Los Angeles Chargers, that one of those players always ends up competing for a roster spot or even winning a spot on the roster. Recent examples of this include Austin Ekeler, Trevor Williams, Adrian Phillips and Michael Davis.
The team has also had plenty of success in the past and it seems like at least one undrafted rookie makes the final 53-man roster almost every season.

The Chargers selected Jerry Tillery, Nasir Adderley, Trey Pipkins, Drue Tranquill, Easton Stick, Emeke Egbule and Cortez Broughton in the draft. However, holes still remain on the team, including at punter, where the Chargers don’t have one.
Look for the team to make several moves with players that were not selected in the process. Aside from a punter, the team could use more help on the offensive line, at cornerback and at wide receiver.
Here, we will track each of the team’s undrafted signings. When a new signing is confirmed, we will do our best to get the list updated, so be sure to check back often.
