Los Angeles Chargers DE Joey Bosa is scheduled to have his cast removed on Sunday. He is not expected to be back on the field till next month.

We all are ready to see our stud Joey Bosa back on the field terrorizing offenses. We all are ready to see this defense live up to the Kool Aid that we all had for them at the start of the season. In order for the defense to reach the level that we all had expected, we need to see our superstar back on the field making plays.

Joey is another step closer to seeing the field. He is getting his cast removed off of his foot and will be rehabbing and exercising. He will likely be seen with a walking boot on the sidelines.

He is expected back on the field some time next month. We will have our eyes on the practice report and waiting to see when he sees action on the practice field.

Once we get Bosa on the field, we can see if this defense has what it takes to make a run. Can they live up to the potential?

More from Bolt Beat

Bosa is a difference maker and he will make everyone else on the field better. He has all eyes on him when he is on the field and he still makes plays in the backfield. He is a monster to deal with and he makes everyone else around him better.

I am looking forward to seeing Bosa on the field with rookie Derwin James. It is one of those dream combinations. It is like having a roided-out Shawne Merriman with Antonio Cromartie before all his kids and Eric Weddle on defense. Let’s get all our playmakers healthy and see how far of a push they can make toward the playoffs.

We still have a few weeks to wait for Joey to get back on the field. I just want to see that he hits the field at full strength. I want to see him dominating the line of scrimmage again and making big time plays in the backfield for us.
