Addae is entering his 3rd season in the league and has been getting a lot of action on the field. With Marcus Gilchrist dipping out of town, it will open up an opportunity for Addae to get time with the starters. He has already shown that he can make some big time hits and he will put his body on the line to make the play.
We just want to see Addae play a little more controlled. He left the field with some scary injuries last season. He needs to be more disciplined on how he throws his body around.
Addae is known for going for the big hit. He wants to get on SportsCenter for lighting people up. We just want to make sure he stays on the field.
Addae’s biggest competition for the starting job will be from free agent Jimmy Wilson. Many believe that Wilson will have the inside track on the starting role since he plays a very similar game to Marcus Gilchrist. We will see how John Pagano wants to roll out the rotations for the job, but Addae still should see plenty of time on the field.
As an undrafted free agent coming into the league, Addae has come onto the field hungry to make plays. That is the type of mentality we love seeing on the field. I don’t know if Addae is ever satisfied and will always be looking to make some huge plays. We will see what he can do this training camp.
