The Los Angeles Chargers may have officially found their first win. While there is a chance of an upset in their Super Chargers uniforms this Sunday against the Houston Texans, a trade has put them in position to ensure they are in the win column on primetime soon.

With injuries to star quarterback Lamar Jackson and serviceable backup Tyler "Snoop" Huntley, the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with the Arizona Cardinals to acquire quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Brissett will not be able to suit up for the Ravens as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football, but the expectation is that he will be in line to start for Baltimore as they take on the Chargers at M&T Bank Stadium on Monday Night Football in Week 10.

A rematch against Jacoby Brissett will bring the Chargers a Week 10 win

The Chargers have had their experience with Brissett this season, as they faced off to open the season while Brissett was the starter for the woeful (but scrappy) Cardinals. The Cardinals' offense looked anything but woeful that day, as Brissett looked like a top-tier quarterback against defensive coordinator Chris O'Leary in his regular-season debut.

Brissett finished the day 27-of-37 for 277 yards and one touchdown with no turnovers. While those stats may not blow anyone away at face value, anyone who watched that game knew the Chargers and O'Leary had zero answers for the veteran signal caller. When Arizona needed a play made, Brissett made it.

While Baltimore may look at that tape and feel they have a good chance to win against Los Angeles, that couldn't be further from the truth. The Chargers' defense that got carved up has shown week after week that they are making improvements, with or without their best personnel.

O'Leary has his unit humming, and if Los Angeles possessed even a league-average offense, they would be a group that no other team would be looking forward to playing. Chris O'Leary has been in his bag since Week 3. As shaky as the start may have been, he will be going into the Week 10 matchup on primetime knowing what Brissett is capable of and knowing all of the mistakes he made as a coordinator to open the season.

The Chargers defense has done everything it could to get the team its first win this year. While it has not been enough just yet, and it may remain that way after a matchup with the Texans, look to Week 10 in Baltimore for the perfect opportunity for the Chargers to put themselves in the win column.

A top-tier defensive showing will be what the Chargers need (and what fans would likely hate to see in the race for Jeremiah Smith). With a second crack at Brissett, O'Leary's unit will be ready to go. Derrick Henry can absolutely be a factor, but if there were ever a time to make a stand, it would be as soon as possible.

The season may already be over. Fans may already be completing mock drafts with the top pick going to the Bolts. But fans deserve to see some fight from this group. In Week 10, Brissett is going to see exactly what improvements O'Leary has made to his defensive unit.
