Jim Harbaugh's insane motor put into perspective by Chargers legend

Jim Harbaugh has won everywhere he has coached and it is not an accident. Harbaugh has brought success to several unsuspecting teams and that is why LA Chargers fans are over the moon that he is the team's head coach.

Hiring Harbaugh truly represented a new era of Chargers football that will hopefully come with much more success. From the coaching staff to the front office to the new state-of-the-art training facility, the Chargers are finally doing everything the right way.

Current players have had nothing but tremendous things to say about Harbaugh and this coaching staff and they are not alone. One fateful Chargers fan was told a snippet from Chargers legend Nick Hardwick, who is currently an assistant offensive line coach for the team, during a tour of the new training facility that truly puts Harbaugh's insane work ethic into perspective.

Jim Harbaugh has the Chargers working harder than anyone else

The NFL has evolved and there is a good chance that every team in the league has more plays in the playbook than what the Chargers had when Hardwick was playing. It is unlikely that most teams are running three times as many plays as Hardwick used to run, though. That is notable.

There is a reason why Harbaugh was so sought after before he made the jump back to the NFL and why Chargers fans were so excited when he eventually took the job. He is a leader of men who knows what it takes to win football games. Small snippets like this from people who are in the room are strong reminders of what makes Harbaugh special in the first place.

The Chargers need Harbaugh to elevate them this season as well. Harbaugh winning a Super Bowl is a multi-year process and is not going to happen overnight.

But if the team is going to be successful right now then Harbaugh has to coach them up beyond their talent ceiling. Because right now, the Chargers have one of the least-talented rosters in the sport.

All signs are pointing to Harbaugh doing just that. If he already has the team running this many plays during minicamp and OTAs, just imagine what training camp is going to look like when it starts later this month.
