How to listen to Chargers vs. Steelers on the radio in Week 3
By Jason Reed
The LA Chargers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the battle of 2-0 teams that very few saw coming. One of these teams (barring a unlikely tie) will emerge with a 3-0 record in a great spot to make the playoffs in the AFC.
As early as this game is, this matchup between the Chargers and Steelers could end up being very important for the AFC playoff picture. Both teams will likely be vying for a spot in the playoffs and a head-to-head tiebreaker could very well decide it.
This is not do-or-die for either team, but it is as important as a Week 3 non-divisional game can be. If you are unable to tune into the action, here are the means by which you can listen to all the action live to stay up to speed.
Local radio stations
Chargers Radio
As is the case every week, Matt "Money" Smith and Daniel Jeremiah will be on the call for ALT 98.7 FM. Chargers fans can listen to the Spanish radio broadcast on Que Buena FM 105.5/94.3 and UniRadio San Diego.
ALT 98.7 is available outside of the Los Angeles area for select markets as well. Smith and Jeremiah can also be heard on KNWZ in Palm Springs, KBFP in Bakersfield, KATY in San Bernardino, KXNT in Las Vegas and KORE in Eugene, Oregon (the Justin Herbert effect).
Those who won't be in their car and do not have an FM transmitter can listen to the ALT 98.7 stream on iHeart Radio.
Steelers Audio Network
Steelers fans in Pittsburgh can stay up-to-date on the action on WDVE-FM (102.5) and WBGG-AM (970). Rob King and former Steelers offensive lineman Craig Wolfley will be on the radio call for the Steelers.
There is a vast list of stations that will be broadcasting the radio feed outside of the Pittsburgh area. These stations span across Pennsylvania and into neighboring states. For a full list of which stations will be carrying the Steelers radio broadcast, click here.
National Radio Stations
SiriusXM broadcasts a radio feed of every single NFL game throughout the season courtesy of Westwood One. In Week 3, Chargers fans will tune into channel 384 while Steelers fans will tune into channel 227. These channels change weekly.
Those who do not have SiriusXM but want to listen to the national radio broadcast of the game can also tune in with an NFL+ subscription. All Westwood One radio broadcasts throughout the season are available on NFL+.
