The LA Chargers are in the playoffs for the first time since 2018 and will square off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night in the Wild Card Round. The Chargers have never lost against the AFC South in the playoffs and fans are hoping that trend continues.
The Chargers news cycle is more important now than it has been all season. We are entering the win or go home part of the season and there are some big storylines surrounding the Chargers as they look to start a month-long Super Bowl push.

- The Chargers have officially designated All-Pro left tackle Rashawn Slater to return from the Injured Reserve. Brandon Staley said that Slater will not play on Saturday against the Jaguars but his 21-day window to practice has opened. If the Chargers get past the Jaguars then fans could see Slater back in action in the playoffs.
- After suffering a needless back injury in Week 18, Mike Williams' status has been listed as day-to-day, per Brandon Staley. Testing showed that Williams did not suffer a serious injury with the hopeful expectation that he can return against the Jaguars.
- Joey Bosa is expected to be a full participant in Wednesday's practice for the Chargers. Bosa has played two games under a snap count since returning from a groin injury and may be ready to ramp up to a full role for the playoffs.

- The Baltimore Ravens agreed to a five-year, $100 million contract extension with linebacker Roquan Smith. This makes Smith the highest-paid off-ball linebacker in the NFL. Baltimore acquired Smith at the deadline for a second-round pick, fifth-round pick and AJ Klein.
- Raiders running back Josh Jacobs said that he hopes to re-sign with the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason but that the situation has to be right for him to return.
- Tua Tagovailoa has not yet been cleared from concussion protocol, with more clarity coming later this week. The Miami Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round.
- Aaron Rodgers did not make his regularly-scheduled appearance on the 'Pat McAfee Show' on Tuesday as he instead met with the Green Bay Packers to discuss his future with the organization.
