2. The LA Chargers aren't beating the Jacksonville Jaguars without Justin Herbert

Many fans probably already assumed this as the drop-off from Justin Herbert to Chase Daniel is very large but if Herbert cannot go next week against the Jaguars then the Chargers are going to lose the game. Jacksonville is not the same team that they were last year and the Chargers are going to struggle a lot in beating them with Daniel under center.

Herbert fractured his rib cartilage and was listed as day-to-day by Brandon Staley. While he theoretically could play on Sunday, this injury is all about pain management and there is a world in which Herbert simply cannot suit up.

Even if Herbert plays there is also a world in which he is simply not himself for a few weeks. While he led a heroic drive against the Chiefs, we cannot sit here and just assume that Herbert is going to be 100% moving forward. It is a horrible reality but it is the reality.

The Jaguars mopped the floor with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Granted, the Colts simply don't look to be a very good football team and Matt Ryan looks ancient, but the Jaguars were still the far better team from start to finish in that game.

Trevor Lawrence is finally coming around and has to be respected and he has legitimate weapons as well. Jacksonville has some blue-chippers on the defensive end that will make plays on the football as well.

With a normal Herbert, the Chargers simply have too much star power to overcome for Jacksonville. Without Herbert or with a lesser version of him, the Jaguars are absolutely in this game, unfortunately.
