The LA Chargers host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football in Week 15 in what is the biggest game of the season for both teams. This game will essentially determine who wins the AFC West this season and whichever team loses will no longer have a chance at being the top seed in the AFC.

We have already broken down our picks against the spread and point total for this game but there are more opportunities to win some money in this game. Prop bets are always fun to make for primetime games and courtesy of WynnBET, we are bringing you three winners.

3 best prop bets to make for Chargers vs. Chiefs on Thursday Night Football:

1. Justin Herbert OVER 16.5 rushing yards (-115)

Justin Herbert is not known for being a running quarterback that is going to slice and dice a defense like a Lamar Jackson or a Kyler Murray. However, Herbert is super athletic and he can certainly make a team pay with his legs if they provide him the chance. Not only can he extend plays with his legs, but he can pick up yardage as well.

We saw this on full display back in the team's last primetime game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Herbert picked up a career-high 90 rushing yards and based on the outlooks of these two teams, it feels like Herbert will have some rushing chances in this one as well.

The Chargers are down to their two backup tackles while the Chiefs are going to be without Chris Jones and Willie Gay. Jones and Gay are two huge presences to lose in the middle of the field and with Herbert getting pressured off the edge, there will be plenty of chances for him to step up and take off in the middle of the field.

This line is such a tasty one to bet because of how small it is. All we really need for this prop bet to hit is for Herbert to pick up 2-3 first downs with his legs. He has rushed for 17 or more yards in five games this season, four of which have come in the last five weeks.
