After a big win over the New York Giants in Week 14 the LA Chargers have a quick turnaround and host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football. This is a huge game for both sides as this game very well could decide who ends up winning the AFC West.

The Chargers are one game behind the Chiefs in the standings but with a win already over Kansas City, beating them in Week 15 would put the Bolts in the driver's seat. The Chargers would have to win out from there (or hope for another Chiefs loss) but with the final three weeks that should not be a huge task.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs can all but lock up the division with a win over the Bolts. A two-game deficit, without the tiebreaker, would be near-impossible for the Chargers to realistically overcome if they were to lose to the Chiefs in Week 15. It is undoubtedly the biggest regular-season game of the year. Let's dive into the odds and our prediction.

Chargers vs Chiefs odds Week 15:

According to WynnBET, the Kansas City Chiefs are three-point favorites on the road against the Chargers at SoFi Stadium. Typically, home teams are granted three points for home-field advantage, so this means that Vegas either does not respect SoFi as a legit home-field advantage (fair) or that they think the Chiefs are six points better than the Chargers.

If you want to bet the Chargers to win outright the moneyline odds for the Bolts are +150 while the Chiefs are -170. The over/under for the game is 51 points.

Chargers vs Chiefs prediction Week 15:

There is a pretty concerning trend that is not in the Chargers' favor. The Kansas City Chiefs have not lost both games against an AFC West opponent in the same season since 2014. That is six straight seasons without losing twice to a divisional opponent, which goes to show just how hard the Chiefs are to beat twice, let alone beat once.

That being said, every streak is meant to be broken. The LA Chargers already showed that they can beat the Chiefs earlier this season and while the Chiefs have won six in a row, they still do not strike that same fear that they did the first time these two teams matched up.

Yes, the Chargers are probably not going to record four takeaways in this game like they did last time these two teams faced each other but they also didn't get primetime Justin Herbert last time these two teams played. Justin Herbert is the best quarterback in the league in primetime and the Chiefs should be worried about that.

It might be a bit of a biased pick but this is the game of the year for the Chargers and they are going to throw everything they have at the Chiefs. I am taking Chargers +3 and over 51 points with a final score prediction of Chargers 33, Chiefs 31.
