Who doesn't love a revenge game?

The last time the Raiders visited SoFi Stadium, Brandon Staley was fired after the Chargers were embarrassed in a blowout that saw the away team score 63 points. It was a rough part of the 2023 season, but LA can redeem themselves by getting back to beating their divisional rival on their home turf again this year.

A lot has changed in the past year, most of which has been for the better for the Chargers. From an overhaul of the staff to a dramatic roster shakeup, this game will surely not end similarly.

Starting the new season against the team that dominated them in every facet of the game in their last meeting would be a great way to introduce the new era under Jim Harbaugh. It would set the tone for the rest of the season, especially against their divisional opponents, and allow them to retake their crown as the better AFC West team.
