Justin Herbert is one of the most reserved starting quarterbacks in the NFL and as such, the LA Chargers' signal-caller has not revealed much about his personal life. Herbert has been in the spotlight for five years now with very little known about his life outside of football.
That may have just changed as Herbert has officially checked off being involved in a celebrity dating rumor. It's quite common for athletes (especially quarterbacks) to frequent the celebrity rumor mill and Herbert is the latest inclusion.
Herbert was seen alongside singer Madison Beer as she filmed some sort of material. Fans online think it's a new music video, but the real story is her connection to Herbert and whether or not the two are dating.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert has officially entered the celebrity rumor mill alongside Madison Beer
Beer, known for singles such as Selfish, Reckless, and Make You Mine (among others), was most recently with fellow influencer Nick Austin. While neither party announced a breakup on social media, rumors have swirled around their breakup dating back to late 2024.
As it the public sighting wasn't enough to fuel these dating rumors, internet sleuths are also using social media to find connections between Herbert and Beer. Reddit user badrelapses recently pointed out that Beer and Annie Dicker, wife of Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker, follow each other on Instagram.
That's notable considering Beer has over 40 million followers and follows under 1,000 people.
Cameron Dicker and Justin Herbert have a known close relationship, with the former recently sharing a story about how he and Herbert used red contact lenses to scare kids at an ice cream shop (yes, that is a real story). Maybe this was a double date involving Annie and Beer.
If that was not enough evidence for you, Reddit sleuths have also pointed out that Beer is liking posts of Herbert on the Chargers Instagram despite not following the Chargers account. Herbert and Beer do not follow each other on Instagram.
For now, these are merely rumors as neither party has confirmed any kind of relationship. And while this isn't the Justin Herbert content that Chargers fans are used to, it could be a storyline that follows the quarterback throughout the 2025 season.
