Ask a group of Los Angeles Chargers fans how they feel about NFL Network analyst Adam Rank and you'd likely get a plethora of responses featuring a large load of four-letter words that we won't write here.
For those unfamiliar, Rank has long seemed to have some sort of vendetta with the Bolts and never has any problem offering up hot-take types of predictions that often involve the Chargers getting the short end of the stick.
We won't go into every single instance in which he's riled up Bolts fans because there are honestly just too many to mention. But how about a few for kicks? A season ago, Rank predicted Los Angeles would struggle to even reach seven wins in the first year of the Jim Harbaugh era. The Chargers, of course, went 11-6 and reached the playoffs. In Week 9 of last season, Rank was one of the only people to pick the Chargers to lose to a Cleveland Browns team that had lost six of its first eight games. The Bolts cruised to a 27-10 victory. I mean, he even predicted that Antonio Gates wouldn't get into the Hall of Fame this year, which the legendary tight end obviously did.
Recently, Rank was the only one of 10 NFL Network analysts to predict the Chargers would lose to the one-win Miami Dolphins. Granted, he was almost correct on that one, as Los Angeles needed a miracle moment from Justin Herbert to set up Cameron Dicker's game-winning field goal, but this is the type of hate Bolts fans can't stand.
Now, it's not as if Rank always predicts the Chargers to lose, but it's gotten to the point that fans don't even want him to predict wins anymore. So, naturally, they're not happy about the fact that he's picked the Bolts to win Thursday night's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

So, you can go ahead and mark Los Angeles down for a second straight defeat.
I kid, of course, but there are certainly plenty of people who feel that Rank picking the Bolts has already sealed their fate. That seems a little silly, of course, but we now just have to wait and see how things play out at SoFi Stadium tonight. The Chargers are currently listed as three-point favorites.
