LA Chargers: 3 reasons why Keenan Allen will have a career year

LA Chargers wideout Keenan Allen is going to have a special 2020 season.

Keenan Allen has been the bonafide WR1 of the LA Chargers for several years now and had posted three consecutive seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards, catching six touchdowns in each of the three seasons.

Allen is quietly one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He often gets overlooked and gets left off of things such as top-50 players lists, but he has deserved the honor of being called one of the league’s best and at worst is a top-10 receiver.

After the 2020 season that Allen is going to have, he is going to undoubtedly make his case as a top-five receiver in the league.

We see these kinds of jumps all the time, an already great receiver has the best year of their career thus far and instantly shoots into the elite cream of the crop category. Nobody thought Michael Thomas was a top-three receiver in the league prior to 2018 but now you could make the case that he is the best after the 2019 season he had.

While we are not predicting a historic season for Allen, which is what Thomas had, we do think that is he destined for the best season of his career that will solidify him as one of the league’s best. We have three primary reasons for this line of thinking, starting with:
