8. Matt Ryan- This one hurts. I feel like he burned a lot of people last year, including myself. “Matty Ice,” is due to bounce back. With Julio Jones on one side and newly drafted Calvin Ridley, the “Bama Brothers” are going to look at lifting Ryan’s game to the next level.

Devonta Freeman does well catching the ball and can be electrifying when he does. Ryan only had 20 touchdowns which makes me want to hurl, but he bombed for over 4,000 yards and only seven other quarterbacks were able to do that.

You would have to expect to get value here seeing as his last year was down, BUT he could bounce back and find himself in the top three quarterbacks in the league. Playoff schedule: AT GB, vs Cards, AT Car

7. Drew Brees- Where to begin with our beloved Drew. Well lets start with the man is a beast. He can still hurl the ball and put it pretty much wherever he wants. Drew hit 4,334 yards and 23 touchdowns last season.

Now he is getting older and that has to be seen. We are no longer looking at a man who is as consistent as he once was, but he still shows flashes of being the man. You will have to draft him high I feel and with his playoff schedule I am almost inclined to advertise that you can find a better option. Playoff schedule: AT TB, AT Car, vs Pitt

6. Kirk Cousins- This will be one of the HOT commodities this fantasy season. I was a huge fan of Cousins in Washington, that was when he had no targets outside of Jamison Crowder. Welcome to target city!

Coincidence that the Twins play at Target Field? I think not! Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen are PRIMED for huge years! One thing I love about Cousins is he loves his tight ends which makes me think that Kyle “The Red Zone Reindeer” Rudolph is going to have a huge year.

This is a guy I would be willing to take decently early and reach a little bit. Cousins ranked 7th with almost 4,100 yards and 8th with 27 touchdowns and those numbers should only go up. Which is nuts to say considering those numbers I just gave you aren’t bad at all.

Kirk’s yards per game is a little low, but trust me I am VERY high on him this year and he could be another top three quarterback at the end of the season. His playoff schedule remains to be seen as Seattle’s defense has fallen apart (or so we think), but at Detroit for the potential championship game does scare me a little bit. Playoff Schedule: AT Sea, vs. Mia, AT Det

5. Matthew Stafford- A man who cashed in! He is also one of the tougher quarterbacks in the league. Which makes him a set it and forget it candidate.

His average yards per game was at 277.9 which ranked 6th in the league last year. Stafford almost hit 4,500 passing yards too which makes it hard to pass on as well. He also threw for 29 touchdowns which makes it awesome when you see someone with big yards and a big touchdown total.

Contrary to popular belief, big shoes doesn’t necessarily mean big socks! Stafford has big shoes, socks and shine box to go with them. His playoff schedule is nice too, but championship week he is at home against Minnesota and that scares me a lot. The Lions are also away two of the weeks and at Buffalo in Week 15 (potential snow game). Playoff schedule: AT Cards, AT Bills, vs. Minn
