Fantasy football is rapidly approaching. It’s a time of year where we ourselves have new hopes, dreams and aspirations. Last year seems like it just happened. Everyone is looking forward to redemption or defending!

The dream season I was able to relish in last year is almost over (2 Ships and 1 3rd)! For me it was celebrated for about a month and I hit the books! The Los Angeles Chargers have a lot of fantasy players worth owning, but will they make my top 10? We’ll find out if Philip Rivers has what it takes this time around.

Quarterback is a tricky position. Obviously we have quarterbacks that are straight money every week, but I’m here to tell you value can be found, and to me, that makes them a better option. So without further adieu, here is the Nicks top 10 Fantasy Quarterback Football list of 2018.

10. Blake Bortles- I know this sounds insane! Blake Bortles as a top-10 fantasy quarterback must make people want to hit that little “X”. Bortles ranked 11th last year in yards and had only 21 touchdowns, but that was with a “bum wrist,” and his playoff schedule is favorable.

Weeks 14-16 he has: AT Ten, vs Wsh, AT Mia. That is pretty solid. I won with Bortles last year after Carson Wentz went down, so it can be done. How does he make my top 10? Value. Quarterback is a position you can disguise in fantasy football. You should be able to get back-to-back quarterbacks in later rounds late so Bortles and maybe a quick quarterback pick after will give you serviceable matchup quarterbacks throughout the season.

9. Jared Goff- I loved Goff last season, it was right up my alley. He completely shocked me, as well as many others around the NFL. I didn’t see him being able to play as well as he did.

Ranking 10th in the league with just over 3,800 yards passing, he also has Todd Gurley as a weapon out of the backfield as well as Robert Woods and a brand new Cook(s)! YES! Went there!

Not to mention Cooper Kupp. Goff has a nice young corps there with a decent playoff schedule and expect him to be pretty nice and you can most likely get some nice value this year. He also ranked fifth in the NFL with 28 touchdowns. Playoff schedule: AT Chi, vs Phi, AT Cardinals
