It’s a new month, so it’s time for a new round of bold predictions. Will these be even more bold than last month?

In our bold predictions for May, I touched on three things that could happen for the team but since then, the team has suffered a massive blow at the tight end position and needs a player to step up if its not going to sign a new tight end.

I’ll touch on the tight end spot here, but first, let’s look back at those May predictions.

Johnathan Hankins is still a free agent and if you’re wondering why, you’re not alone. The 26-year old can still make a big difference for a team and I feel it’s only a matter of time before another team realizes that. Whether that’s the Los Angeles Chargers or not remains to be seen.

The only plausible explanation is that he’s asking for too much money.

Nelson Spruce making the final 53-man roster is obviously still very much up in the air, but I’m not coming off of that prediction a bit. He has the talent to be a real surprise this summer.

Finally, Jatavis Brown leading the team in tackles may not be the boldest prediction you’ll ever hear, but it would ensure that he bounced back from last season in a big way. His talent is far too obvious for the team to stick with the likes of Hayes Pullard, so this is another prediction I’ll stand by for the time being.

Now, onto three brand new, perhaps even more bold, predictions.
