Should San Diego Chargers pursue Dwayne Bowe?
By Ernie Padaon
Dwayne Bowe will be cut by the Kansas City Cheifs on Wednesday. Should the Chargers have any interest in him?
The free agency period is about to kick off at 1PM PT on Tuesday and it will be a frenzy. During the madness, players will be signed from one team to another and then vets will be dropped off of their rosters to make room for the new players that were brought over.
One vet that could be left in the dust is WR Dwayne Bowe. Bowe likely will be cut later in the week after the Chiefs sign Jeremy Maclin to a contract.
The #Chiefs are expected to release WR Dwayne Bowe tomorrow, source said.

San Diego Chargers fans know Bowe very well and have seen what he can do to a defense. I wonder what he could do with a real quarterback throwing him the ball. He has always had some trash tossing the rock to him. What could he do if he had Philip Rivers throwing him the ball?
Should the San Diego Chargers have any interest in the veteran?
Bowe is 30 years old, but still has a little something left in the tank. The team wouldn’t need to sign him to a long-term deal and still would need to find a receiver for the future, but he would be a solution for what the team needs now. He knows how to catch the ball in traffic and can fight for the ball that is up in the air. He creates yards after the catch and is good in the screen game. He is also a big time threat in the red zone.
If the Chargers are unable to come to a deal with Eddie Royal, then the team might want to look toward Bowe to see if he wants to work in San Diego. He can play in the slot or can go to the outside and we can move Keenan Allen into the slot. He would get to work with a real quarterback.
Royal likely would be the player that the Chargers would want to bring back onto the roster, but the team still has not re-signed him and will need to look at other possibilities. Bowe would be an option.
