The 2023 NFL Draft is a very interesting one for the LA Chargers. After making the playoffs as a wild card in 2022, the Chargers own the 21st overall pick in the draft. This is the first time that the Chargers are picking in the 20s since the 2019 NFL Draft.

The last several years have been rather cut and dry as far as the Bolts were concerned. It was easy to pinpoint what prospects the team would be chasing in the draft. This year is different, as there are several different directions the team can go in.

Heck, the Chargers may not even end up with the 21st overall pick as they could always move in the draft. General manager Tom Telesco did hint at a potential trade down earlier this offseason so that is in the realm of possibility.

But what if the Chargers do stay at 21? Not every fan wants to watch every single selection in the 2023 NFL Draft and may just want to watch the Chargers' selection. If you check that box, we have you covered.

What time will the Chargers be on the clock in the 2023 NFL Draft?

The Chargers should be on the clock around 7:15-7:20 p.m. PDT. Here is how we know this.

The 2023 NFL Draft starts at 5 p.m. PDT and each team has 10 minutes to make their selection. Doing some basic math, that equates to 200 minutes until the Chargers are on the clock, or an hour and 40 minutes. That would put the Bolts on the clock at 6:40 PDT.

However, it is not always that simple. Teams do not always use their full 10 minutes and there are also commercials to factor in. Thus, we have to go based on historical examples.

In last year's draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected cornerback Trent McDuffie with the 21st overall pick at 7:26 p.m. PDT. The 2022 NFL Draft also started at 5:00 p.m. PDT. As long as you can tune into the 2023 NFL Draft by 7:00 p.m. PDT then you shouldn't have to worry about missing the Bolts' selection.
