For the second time in the last three seasons, the LA Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders will face each other at SoFi Stadium to kick off the NFL season. Last time these two teams saw each other in Week 1 the Chargers escaped with a 24-19 victory after a stellar first half.

Las Vegas has the most recent bragging rights, though, as the last matchup between the two teams was a 63-21 beatdown. To be fair, most Chargers fans were rooting against their own team in that game as Justin Herbert was hurt and fans were worried about draft capital (and whoever the next head coach would be).

Unlike the last matchup between these two teams, this Week 1 showdown will actually matter. It will be the first game for the elite combination of Justin Herbert and Jim Harbaugh as the Raiders are hoping to upset the NFL world as the underdog.

For anyone outside of California or Nevada who falls into the coverage map, you can find a list of CBS providers and their respective channels here (regardless of TV provider).

This is a big game for CBS as evidenced by the fact that the A-team will be on the broadcast call. Jim Nance and Tony Romo will be on the call, hence why most of the big markets are going to be seeing this game in the late window instead of the Broncos-Seahawks matchup (coverage map via 506 Sports).

Fans who are out of the coverage window will have to utilize NFL Sunday Ticket. NFL Sunday Ticket allows fans to watch every out-of-market game throughout the entire 2024 season and is available through YouTubeTV.

How to stream Raiders vs. Chargers

Those who are not tuning in traditionally on their CBS provider are not out of luck. In-market fans will also be able to watch the game live on Paramount+. Any in-market CBS game throughout the 2024 season will be available to watch on Paramount+.

Fans who do not have a traditional cable subscription can also turn to various live-streaming platforms that offer the same experience. Fubo, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV are all alternative options that will carry your in-market CBS provider based on your location.
