It goes without saying that Justin Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. The LA Chargers hit the jackpot when the Miami Dolphins decided to draft Tua Tagovailoa instead, allowing Herbert to fall to the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Los Angeles has a legitimate Super Bowl window because of Herbert. While the young quarterback has not yet won a playoff game, there should be no doubt in the fanbase's mind that his career with the Bolts is going to be filled with success.

One of Herbert's best traits is his size and toughness. He is one of the biggest quartertbacks in the league, which in turn has also given him more durability thus far in his career. Herbert played through two injuries in 2022 and had a down year that most quarterbacks would call a career year. The dude is tough as nails.

Herbert recently participated in a Sport Fishing Championship competition and was on a team with Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman, Chris Jones. Herbert and Jones snapped a picture together and any fans that could not gauge Herbert's true size will be blown away by just how massive the signal-caller is.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert somehow dwarves Chris Jones

For those that may not be familiar, Jones is a six-foot-six, 310-pound defensive tackle. He is one of the best players at his position, which also happens to be one of the biggest positions size-wise on the entire field.

And somehow Justin Herbert looks bigger than him. This is a quarterback, not a linebacker, and really puts into perspective just how massive the Chargers' signal-caller is. Add in the fact that he has a rocket arm and is incredibly mobile and it's clear (which every Chargers fan already knew) that Herbert really is a freak of nature.

A quarterback does not have to be massive like Herbert to be successful but it certainly is an added plus.
