2. Chargers draft Malik Nabers

Malik Nabers is an extremely talented wide receiver prospect and in most years he would be the first wide receiver off the board. In fact, there is growing buzz as we head into draft season that he might actually be the first receiver taken in the 2024 NFL Draft, which could pave the way for the Chargers' best-case scenario if Nabers is taken by Arizona.

Regardless, Nabers may not be the best-case scenario for the Chargers but it does not change the fact that he would be a great addition. Nabers has all the makings of being a legitimate Pro Bowl receiver with All-Pro aspirations.

Nabers' athleticism jumps off the tape and his ability to play both outside and in the slot would allow the Chargers to be versatile with how they use the rookie. Nabers would instantly come in and be the best receiver on the Chargers and would probably produce close to the level that Keenan Allen did last season.

While he might be the second-best option for the Chargers he is definitely the most likely option. Despite all of the speculation and the guesses around what the Chargers may do, the overwhelming favorite right now is that the team takes Nabers with the fifth pick as the second receiver off the board.

But if there are no receivers taken before the Chargers then the team can get its true best-case scenario with the fifth pick.
