4. Joey Bosa, 2016 NFL Draft

Joey Bosa's stock with the Chargers has never been lower as he is coming off back-to-back injury-riddled seasons with the team. While it is easy to sell low on Bosa considering his health and age, it is important to highlight that he is still one of the best pass rushers in the game when healthy.

The hope for 2024 is that the Chargers can finally get a season where both Bosa and Khalil Mack are healthy together for most of the year. If so, with Tuli Tuipulotu and Morgan Fox next to them, the Chargers can have one of the best pass-rushing foursomes in the league.

It is all about staying healthy for Bosa, who truly is one of the biggest x-factors on the entire Chargers roster this season.

3. Derwin James, 2018 NFL Draft

At his best, Derwin James is one of the best safeties in the league. However, the problem with James' Chargers career (if we wanted to dissect it) is that he has missed two full seasons with injury and has been pretty bad the last year and a half for the Chargers.

The hope is that James' regression in the last two seasons was caused by Brandon Staley's misuse and not James' ability. James is not a perfect player and Staley always seemed to put him in positions to fail, not succeed.

If Jesse Minter comes in and puts James in positions to succeed more often than not in 2024 then we could see a third All-Pro season out of the former Florida State Seminole.
