Week 2: Chargers at Titans

The Tennessee Titans ended last season in incredibly disappointing fashion, which included a loss to the Chargers down the stretch. While that is seemingly setting the team up for more disappointment in 2023, the roster might just be good enough to squeak by and make noise in the AFC South.

The Bolts can't win them all and this feels like an ugly afternoon slugfest in a humid Tennessee afternoon that tests the Chargers' new offense for the first time.

Prediction: Titans 24, Chargers 23 (1-1)

Week 3: Chargers at Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings were a better team than the Titans last season but they also had an incredibly easy schedule and were exposed in the playoffs. There is some real superstars on the offensive side of the ball for Minnesota but there is also a really bad defense and the question of whether or not Alexander Mattison can truly replace Dalvin Cook.

This is going to be an offensive shootout that will come down to which quarterback delivers in the clutch. You know who we are picking.

Prediction: Chargers 38, Vikings 31 (2-1)

Week 4: Raiders at Chargers

This is the last game before the Chargers' early bye week in Week 5 and as long as the team is healthy, it shouldn't be a tough matchup for the Bolts. The Chargers have had an easy time with the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium over the last two years and that shouldn't change for this one.

Prediction: Chargers 30, Raiders 20 (3-1)
