The preseason is over and NFL fans have gone through their last weekend without football for the next several months. LA Chargers fans are through the roof with excitement as the Bolts are less than a week away from taking on the Miami Dolphins and kicking off 2023's journey.

Fans know a lot more about the 2023 Chargers now that the preseason is over than they did before training camp started. While there are still some question marks and some variables that will continue to persist throughout the years, fans still have a pretty good feel for this team.

The same can be said for all 31 other teams in the NFL as well. Now that the preseason is over, it is easier to predict the outcomes for the upcoming 2023 season. It is the hottest NFL media trend before Week 1 and we here at Bolt Beat are jumping on the trend.

We will predict the outcome of the first game on this page, with four games on each of the subsequent pages.

Predicting every game of the Chargers' 2023 season:

Week 1: Dolphins at Chargers

The Chargers start the 2023 season off with a rematch against the Miami Dolphins and it is hard to find another game on LA's schedule that would be more fun as a Week 1 matchup. There are huge variables for both these teams so there will definitely be a lot of NFL fans tuning into this game to get an idea of where both teams stand.

Brandon Staley's defense got the best of Tua Tagovailoa in this matchup last season. This has given Mike McDaniel plenty of time to counter the gameplan as he is not currently caught in the grind of the regular season. That being said, Tua also hasn't taken any real game reps since his second concussion last season.

There will be some cobwebs for both teams to shake off but at the end of the day, a healthy Chargers defense can slow down the Dolphins' offense (as seen last year) while the Bolts can also take advantage of some holes in Miami's secondary.

Prediction: Chargers 26, Dolphins 23 (1-0)
