The Los Angeles Chargers head to the East Coast to take on the New York Jets in the Week 9 edition of Monday Night Football. If they can manage to get their second-straight win, it could serve as some momentum to get them back in the hunt for a playoff spot.

If you want to find out the betting odds for the game, as well as my prediction, you can find that in my full betting preview here.

In this article, we're talking touchdowns as I break down three players I'll be betting on to find the end zone on Monday night. If you want to tail any of these plays, I'd recommend doing so at Caesars Sportsbook. Chargers vs. Jets Anytime TD Bets

  • Joshua Kelley Anytime TD (+470)
  • Justin Herbert Anytime TD (+550)
  • Chargers Defense Anytime TD (+650)

Joshua Kelley Anytime TD (+470)

Ausitn Ekeler is obviously a big favorite to score a touchdown, but let's try to get a little bit cheeky here and instead bet on Joshua Kelley at +470 odds. He's still getting some working even when Ekeler is active, running the ball 15 times over the last two games.

If the Chargers are smart, they'll run the ball early and often against this Jets defense, that has struggled against the run all season. They rank just 22nd in the league in opponent yards per carry, giving up 4.3 yards per rush.

I'm going to take a shot on Kelley to find the end zone.

Justin Herbert Anytime TD (+550)

As I mentioned, the Chargers would be smart to try to run the ball against the Jets instead of looking to the pass. That may result in Justin Herbert taking off with his legs at times throughout the game.

The Chargers' QB already has three rushing touchdowns in the season, so it's not crazy to imagine him finding the end zone once again. He's certainly worth a bet to do exactly that at +550 odds.

Chargers Defense Anytime TD (+650)

The Jets have had turnover issues all season, giving up the ball an average of 1.4 times per game this season. If that trend continues, the Chargers defense could be in a great spot to take a turnover to the house for a touchdown. If you want to place a longshot bet for some fun, I wouldn't be shocked to see the Chargers' defense score on Monday night.
