The Detroit Lions, fresh off their bye week, will head out west to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon. This NFC North-AFC West matchup is oozing with talent as both teams have offensive weapons that can score multiple touchdowns.

I found two Chargers anytime touchdown props that are plus money and a Lions prop that seems like a solid play for Sunday.

Best anytime touchdown scorer picks for Chargers vs. Lions

  • Donald Parham Jr. (+340)
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown (-110)
  • Keenan Allen (+135)

Donald Parham Jr. anytime touchdown scorer (+340)

If you are looking for a longshot touchdown scorer for Sunday’s game, look no further than Los Angeles tight end Donald Parham Jr. Parham Jr. doesn’t have a ton of production on the season – 13 receptions (21 targets) for 104 yards. However, he has four touchdowns because of his ability to be a weapon inside the red zone.

The 26-year-old tight end is tied for first in red zone receiving targets with Keenan Allen (9) and has seen a red zone target in four consecutive games, per ftnfantasy.com. Parham Jr. has a good matchup against the Lions’ defense, which has allowed four touchdowns to TEs this season. With Detroit being concerned about Allen and Ekeler, Parham could slip behind the defense for a touchdown.

Amon-Ra St. Brown anytime touchdown scorer (-110)

St. Brown has been catching everything coming toward him in his last three games but only has one touchdown to show for it. The 24-year-old receiver is coming off a fantastic performance vs. the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8, posting six receptions (nine targets) for 108 yards. However, he didn’t have a single red zone target.

The former USC wide receiver should have better luck this week against the Chargers defense, which has allowed nine touchdowns to wide receivers this season.

Keenan Allen anytime touchdown scorer (+135)

The veteran receiver hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 6 against Dallas, but he’s still getting targets thrown his way. Over his last three games, Allen has 20 receptions (28 targets) for 201 yards. However, the 31-year-old wide receiver has only seen one red zone target.

At +135 odds, it’s too hard to pass up this value, as Allen is due to score a touchdown. Detroit’s defense has allowed seven touchdowns to wide receivers this season and ranked fifth in DVOA-WR1, per ftnfantasy.com. The stats don’t say that Allen will score, but sometimes it’s best to go against the grain.
