Chris Rumph is getting high praise during LA Chargers training camp

Chris Rumph has not made some highlight play that we can talk about here and he has not gotten a ton of reps with the first-team defense. However, the thing that has really stood out is how his teammates are talking about him.

Joey Bosa has been nothing but complimentary towards Rumph. He praised how quickly Rumph learned the playbook and also said that he has all the tools to succeed in the NFL.

Rumph is raw, and he might not have a huge role on the team in year one but all we can hope for is that he gets better as the year goes along and proves Bosa right.

Larry Rountree may have found his niche during LA Chargers training camp

A lot is up in the air behind Austin Ekeler in the running back room but it appears that Justin Jackson is going to be the RB2 if he can stay healthy. He has been getting most of the RB2 snaps for the Bolts.

Larry Rountree has looked good during camp and should not be discounted. I doubt he beats out Jackson for the RB2 job but it appears as if he has found his niche in the offense.

Rountree, at least in year one, projects to be an option for the Chargers in short-yardage situations as well as the goal-line. This is ideal for the Bolts, as Austin Ekeler is not the best in these situations.
