2. Joey Bosa

Joey Bosa was incredible in Week 3 and has been all season. Bosa was essentially playing on one leg as his ankle was not in great shape but that did not matter. He made the Chiefs' offensive line look like amateurs and recorded a season-high 10 pressures on Patrick Mahomes.

Remember: this is not the banged-up offensive line from the Super Bowl. This is the newly-formed offensive line that was meant to be even better than last year's offensive line. It has done a solid job of holding up and Bosa was just that good.

Thus far this season Bosa has two sacks and 16 pressures on the quarterback. He is one of the best edge rushers in the entire NFL and is the second-best player on the LA Chargers.

1. Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert is the real deal. Charger fans don't need me to tell them that but it is quite clear that Herbert belongs in the elite tier of quarterbacks and that last season was no mirage. Herbert was elite in his rookie season and as expected, is even better in his second year.

Herbert already has two game-winning drives under his belt this season and he is joining the shortlist of quarterbacks that you never want to give the ball to with two minutes left in a close game.

Through three games, Herbert is on pace for 5,417 yards and 34 touchdowns. The kid has it. Plain and simple.
