LA Chargers roster: Complete roster breakdown vs. Dallas Cowboys
By Jason Reed
The LA Chargers defeated last season's NFC East Champion in the Washington Football Team in Week 1 and now take on the team that many people are circling to win the division this year, the Dallas Cowboys.
This will be the first-ever Chargers game that allows fans at SoFi Stadium and unfortunately, it is going to be a majority of Cowboys fans. That is fine, though, as we have seen the Chargers will come prepared and won in front of an east coast crowd. They can handle this.
The reason Charger fans should be confident is because of the Chargers roster. Tom Telesco has built a talented team that can compete with any team in the league, obviously including the Dallas Cowboys.
As we do ahead of every game, let's break down the two rosters and see where the advantages lie.
The LA Chargers roster vs. the Dallas Cowboys roster:
Special teams: Advantage, Dallas Cowboys
Some might call me crazy to give the advantage here to the Dallas Cowboys considering Greg Zuerlein missed multiple kicks on Thursday Night Football and Tristan Vizcaino did not miss any of his four weeks in Week 1.
The Chargers have to prove it more before they start getting the advantage. There were still some things in the punt return game that was shaky (catching it inside the 10, not getting out of the way of an errant bounce)
The Chargers are going in the right direction and Dallas is certainly trending in the wrong direction but it is still too soon to buy into the Chargers special teams.
