LA Chargers record prediction: Predicting each game after bye week
By Jason Reed
LA Chargers record prediction, Weeks 10-12:
Week 8 vs. Minnesota Vikings: Win
The Minnesota Vikings are a weird team that is struggling to beat bad teams. Hats off to Kirk Cousins for having two straight game-winning drives but they barely beat the Detroit Lions and the Carolina Panthers. And this is a team that can keep up with LA?
A full-strength Dalvin Cook in this game is a terrifying thought but he has been banged up and the hope is that by then the run defense has improved. At the end of the day, I don't see the Vikings' defense stopping Justin Herbert.
Week 9 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Win
This looked like a potentially tough game when the schedule was announced and it is going to be full of Steelers fans. That being said, Ben Roethlisberger is one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the entire NFL and the Steelers defense is not as good as it was thought to be before the season.
This should be a game that is very similar to the Chargers' win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football; a game in which the Chargers control throughout.
Week 10 at Denver Broncos: Win
The Denver Broncos are not a great football team. While Teddy Bridgewater has been an upgrade over Drew Lock, he is still just a game manager at the end of the day and a game manager is not enough to out-duel a team like the LA Chargers. The last three results for Denver should have shown that.
That moves the LA Chargers' winning streak out of the bye to four games, giving them an 8-2 record.
