Like 29 other NFL teams, the LA Chargers will be watching the Super Bowl from their couches as the LA Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals. It does sting a bit more for the Chargers, though, as the Super Bowl is in Los Angeles and the Rams get to play at home at SoFi Stadium. Also, Joe Burrow was drafted in the same year as Justin Herbert and the Bengals are showing that if the Chargers just made the playoffs they could have gotten hot and made some noise.

After falling short in 2021 the team will go back to the drawing board this offseason in what is one of the most important offseasons in team history. The first year of the Justin Herbert-Brandon Staley partnership is in the books and in theory, things should get better in year two with Staley.

That is especially true considering the Chargers have ample cap space to make free-agent moves while also having 11 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Chargers need to get better and they have the means to get better.

Perhaps the LA Chargers could look to improve with a player from the two Super Bowl teams.

Brandon Staley has connections to most players on the LA Rams and the team could also look to tap into the lightning in a bottle that the Bengals have had this season. Getting players with playoff experience could be really important to this team and there are players on both sides that are worth considering.

Not every player makes sense for the Bolts (sorry to any Odell Beckham Jr. fans out there) and some will outright be priced out of being an option, such as Jessie Bates. When it boils down to it, there are four free agents from the two Super Bowl teams that make sense for LA. We ranked those four, and without further ado, let's dive into no. 4.
