The LA Chargers ultimately fell short of making the playoffs despite having a promising season in the first year under head coach Brandon Staley. The Bolts simply lost games that they should not have lost to the Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders in the final three weeks of the season and instead of playing next weekend, they will be watching at home from their couch.
Other playoff teams should be thankful because the Chargers are a wild-card team that nobody wants to face. Instead, the Raiders and Steelers are two wild-card teams and are easy outs for the Bengals and Chiefs, respectively.
