1. LA Chargers

The LA Chargers are 3-1 and are the only team in the AFC West with two division wins, which is giving the team a huge head start in the race for the division title as there is a good chance that it might come down to some tiebreakers.

Not only are the Chargers the only team in the division with two division wins but they are 3-1 this season despite playing a tough schedule. Every single opponent the Chargers have played thus far are .500 or better. They are the only winning team in the league that can say they have only played .500 or better teams every week.

That trend continues the next two weeks with the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. While we do not expect too much and will be happy with a split in those two games, if the Bolts do escape with a 5-1 record at the bye there should be serious talks about them being the best team in the league.

We are not quite there yet but we absolutely are to the point of ranking them first in the division. There is a difference between just winning games and winning them impressively and even though two of the wins were one-possession wins, the Chargers have been very impressive in their preparation.

This is a team that is never going to be out of a game with Brandon Staley and when they do lose, it will likely be within one possession, as it was against Dallas. That is a sign of a really good football team.

There is still a lot of football left to play in the 2021 season but thus far, it is impossible to not be impressed with the LA Chargers.
