The LA Chargers have a lot to prove in the 2021 season. New head coach Brandon Staley is looking to turn the tide of the franchise as it enters a new era with Justin Herbert under center.

The talent is there for the Bolts to be successful, it was the coaching that was seemingly holding the team back. While the Bolts still have to prove it on the field, it is safe to say that they are a Super Bowl dark horse.

The Chargers will be looking to prove that jurisdiction correct while specific players on the team will be looking to prove their worth to the team. These specific players are entering make-or-break years, and their future in the league might depend on their play in 2021.

There are three LA Chargers who are entering make-or-break seasons in 2021.

All three of these players have some sort of expectations that they have to live up to. It would not be fair to say that a fifth-string cornerback is entering a make-or-break season as they will not play much anyway. These are players that will play and have some work to do to win over the fanbase.

If not, it might be time to give up on the expectations that the fans have developed for these players. Not every player works out and while we love to always think the best is going to happen that simply is not how the league works.
