The LA Chargers are one of the most compelling teams in the NFL heading into the 2024 season. Jim Harbaugh is making his triumph return to professional football after winning the National Championship as he looks to eventually lead the Bolts to the team's first Super Bowl in franchise history.

With a star quarterback in Justin Herbert, the Bolts are going to be one of the most entertaining teams to watch in 2024. It won't just be Chargers fans tuning in to see what this team is made of, it will be the entire football world.

In today's ever-growing landscape of streaming services, channels, and random sports bundles, it can be difficult to know where exactly you can watch the Chargers. We have you covered.

How to watch Chargers games with cable

Traditional cable providers:

All but one of the Chargers' games in 2024 will be available to watch on cable. The four biggest cable providers fans can rely on to watch these games are Spectrum, Cox and Frontier. Frontier must be bundled in an internet package as they no longer offer standalone TV.

Unlike baseball, there are no regional sports networks who cover the Chargers so fans do not need a special package with a special channel to watch the games.

Satellite TV providers:

The two most prominent satellite TV providers in Southern California are DirectTV and Dish. DirectTV no longer has the Sunday Ticket package, so there is not a big difference between the two providers when it comes to watching Chargers games.

How to watch Chargers games without cable

Streaming platforms

NFL+

For $7 a month, in-market fans can subscribe to NFL+ to watch the Chargers. However, games are only available to be streamed on mobile device and it must be a local or primetime game. If you are a Chargers fan out of market then NFL+ is not going to do you any good.

Free trial: At the time of writing, NFL+ is not offering any free trials.

ESPN+

The Chargers do have one game on ESPN+ this season. The Bolts are on the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7 as part of a Monday Night Football doubleheader. Baltimore vs. Tampa Bay will be the main game broadcast on ESPN while Chargers-Cardinals will only be available on ESPN+. ESPN+ costs $10.99 a month.

It is important to note that normal Monday Night Football games that are broadcast on ESPN are not available to watch on ESPN+. For those games, fans still need a TV subscription.

Free trial: At the time of writing, ESPN+ is not offering any free trials.

Paramount+

In-market fans can watch any Chargers game broadcast on CBS (which is most of them) live with a Paramount+ subscription. Out-of-market fans will not be able to watch the Bolts on Paramount+.

Free trial: Paramount+ offers new users a seven-day free trial.

FuboTV

NFL fans who want to cut the cord but still get all the benefits of cable TV can check out FuboTV. FuboTV operates identically to a standard cable subscription (with more bells and whistles) as any regularly-televised Chargers game will be available to stream live on FuboTV.

Free trial: FuboTV offers new users a free seven-day trial.

Hulu + Live TV

Like FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV offers the same experience as traditional cable TV. Aside from the one game exclusively on ESPN+, Chargers fans can watch every Chargers game in 2024 with Hulu + Live TV.

Free trial: Hulu + Live TV offers a three-day free trial with ads.

Sling TV

Like the two before it, Sling TV offers a similar experience to Chargers fans who want to catch the game without traditional cable. Sling TV also has cheaper package options that include basic cable channels, where most of the Chargers' games will be played.

Free trial: Sling TV also offers a seven-day free trial to new users.

NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV

NFL Sunday Ticket officially moved to YouTube TV last year and once again offers diehard football fans a chance to never miss a snap of action. Chargers fans do not need NFL Sunday Ticket to watch the Bolts but if they want to keep up with every game it is needed.

Fans can subscribe to just Sunday Ticket for $449 a year and that will get them every single out-of-market game. However, fans get a discount on Sunday Ticket if they have YouTube TV as it is $349 for the year with a YouTube TV subscription. The YouTube TV subscription is $72.99 a month.

Free trial: Sunday ticket nor YouTube TV has a free trial, although new users can get $10 off a month in their first three months on YouTube TV.

Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video is needed to watch every Thursday Night Football game this season. Thankfully, the Chargers were given the incredible gift of not having a single Thursday Night Football game on the 2024 schedule.

Free trial: Amazon offers a 30-day free trial to new users. Any regular Amazon Prime subscription also grants access to Prime Video.

Peacock TV

Football fans can watch any Sunday Night Football game on Peacock TV. The Chargers do not have a Peacock-exclusive game like they had last year against the Buffalo Bills but they do play on Sunday night. The team's Week 14 game against the Kansas City Chiefs can be watched on Peacock in addition to regular NBC.

Free trial: Peacock does not officiall offer a free trial.
