J.C. Jackson

J.C. Jackson has similarities to Phillips in the fact that he went from the Chargers to the Patriots and was released by New England this offseason. He could not be any more different than Phillips when it comes to preception with Chargers fans.

Phillips is one of the most beloved former Chargers who fans wish never left. Jackson is regarded as one of the worst signings in Chargers history and fans could not have been more excited to see him get traded last year.

The same problems that plagued Jackson in Los Angeles followed him to New England as Belichick was unable to recoup his value. It actually started off on the right foot as Jackson started his second Patriots tenure off with a few solid games. However, it did not take very long for Jackson to not even travel with the team to Germany.

There were early reports about the Patriots wanting to potentially bring Jackson back at a cheap price after releasing him and that very well could happen. If it doesn't, it is hard to see what other team in the league would even take a chance on the former Pro Bowl cornerback.

The last two seasons have been atrocious for Jackson, who has not proven to be reliable health-wise or off the field for his last two teams. If it is not the Pats, it likely won't be anyone.
