Best running backs the Chargers face: 4. Isiah Pacheco, KC

With the least experience on this list, Isiah Pacheco is one of the tougher matchups for the Chargers this season. We all know the Kansas City Chiefs' passing game with Patrick Mahoney and Travis Kelce is dangerous, but the running game has been somewhat lackluster. Pacheco seems to have the talent and potential to turn things around in the Chiefs backfield.

Pacheco produced 830 yards and 5 touchdowns with an average of 4.88 yards per attempt last season. Those numbers are even more impressive considering he was not the starting running back the first few weeks of the season. Playing a full season, Pacheco is a young back to look out for.

Outside of his overall production last season, he particularly produced very well against the Chargers. The first meeting was Week 2 and Pacheco only had 2 touches. The second meeting of last season, he was dominant against the Bolts rushing for 107 yards on 15 carries.

The second-year running back won’t consistently put up 7.5 yards per attempt, but those numbers give much reason for him to be up on this list. As a division rival, the Bolts will see Pacheco and twice this season, and potentially many times in the future if he lives up to his potential.
