2. Dustin Hopkins

The Chargers are keeping Dustin Hopkins on the roster after bringing back Cameron Dicker and we are going to see an old-fashioned kicker's duel in training camp this season. As a result, one of the two kickers will be off the roster by the time Week 1 rolls around.

At first it seemed like the Chargers may even look to cut Hopkins with a post-June 1 designation if the team needed to free up the salary-cap space. But with spending slowing down it makes much more sense for the Bolts to let the two have their competition for the job in camp.

The favorite right now has to be Cameron Dicker. While he missed a kick in the playoff game and did not showcase much long-range consistency with the Chargers, he still had a great stint in LA and more than earned the job as the starting kicker.

He will have to continue that work against Hopkins but everything is in Dicker's favor. He is younger, cheaper and is not coming off of a quad injury that could very well impact Hopkins' entire kicking game.

Of course, if Dicker comes out and blows it then it will be nice to have Hopkins as an alternative. But as it stands right now, Dicker seems to be the favorite.
