The LA Chargers squeezed past the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9 in a crazy game that saw both teams try and give it away at certain points. At the end of the day, the Bolts still moved to 5-3 on the season and are right in the thick of the AFC playoff picture.

Los Angeles has had the worst injury luck in the entire league this season and they entered Week 9's must-win game with a lot of players out of commission. However, the team was still able to band together and beat a Falcons team that has upset other talented teams this season.

While there very obvious great performances from the likes of Justin Herbert and Khalil Mack, there were also some surprisingly impressive performances that should make fans feel more confident moving forward.

Here are the 3 Chargers who were surprisingly impressive in the Week 9 win over the Falcons:

1. Isaiah Spiller

Despite being selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Isaiah Spiller has not received many chances from the Bolts this season. Spiller did not make his NFL debut until Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks, making this just his second game.

Spiller received limited playing time against the Falcons but he impressed in the looks that he did get. His 29 yards on seven carries were good and compared to Sony Michel, look fantastic. It wasn't his rushing total that was impressive, though. It was his positive production in pass-blocking, especially for a rookie.

With Sony Michel's arrow pointing directly down, Spiller is likely going to get more run out of the Chargers in the coming weeks and could become a focal point of the offense until Joshua Kelley returns to be the RB2.
