Chargers vs Raiders: Best prop bets to make for Sunday Night Football
By Jason Reed
3. LA Chargers OVER 26.5 points (-110)
Yes, all of our prop bets are pro-Chargers and that might seem like we are being biased. However, we do not always go all pro-Chargers in the prop bets, we just recognize that there is a lot of money to be made on the Chargers offense in this game. The Raiders' defense, while it has done well against bad teams, does not do good against good teams.
The Raiders have played six games against quarterbacks who most would consider to be in the top 10. Those games are against Herbert, Patrick Mahomes (twice), Joe Burrow, Dak Prescott and Lamar Jackson. In those six games, the fewest amount of points that the Raiders have allowed to score is 27. The average amount of points scored is 34.8 points.
This is a defense that struggles against good offenses and is missing pieces in this game. The Chargers, meanwhile, are averaging 32 points per game in their last nine games. All signs are pointing to the Chargers being able to score at least four touchdowns worth of points in this game.
This is not even a bet against the Raiders. This is a bet for the Chargers. As long as the Chargers do what they should do then this point total is a near-guarantee. The only team that can prevent this total from happening is the Chargers with their own mistakes because the Raiders are not going to keep it from happening.
If you are only going to bet one of these prop bets in this game then it should absolutely be this bet.
