Monday Night Football prop bet #2: Justin Herbert OVER 299.5 passing yards (-120)

When picking out prop bets we are trying to pick out bets that do not have too much juice on them and can actually be profitable. Justin Herbert over 1.5 touchdowns seems like a no-brainer but at -260 odds there is simply too much juice to comfortably bet it. Herbert can have a great game and only have one passing touchdown.

This prop seems just as likely for Herbert and there is far less juice. Herbert is averaging over 300 passing yards per game this season and while he did not surpass the 300-mark in Week 2, chances are that he is going to do it in Week 4 to keep that average high.

Gus Bradley's Cover 3 scheme has been successful in the past but if there is anyone that knows how to attack it it is the players on the Chargers offense. Not only do they know how to attack it but Gus Bradley is notorious for not adapting and changing the scheme as the game goes along.

The Chargers know exactly what they are getting and for the most part, they are not going to get any curveballs. Justin Herbert has been able to dissect the three teams he has played and quite frankly, Vegas does not have a great secondary.

It has been fine thus far but they also have not played a team that will challenge them vertically like the Bolts. This is easily the best passing team the Raiders have played and that will show on Monday.

Herbert threw for over 300 yards against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football last year and I would expect more of the same in this one.
