With a new head coach in Brandon Staley, the sky was the limit for the Bolts in 2021. They knocked on the door of the playoffs but were unable to get a win (or tie) in Week 18 against the rivaled Las Vegas Raiders. What seed are the Chargers in the playoffs?

The Chargers are the fifth seed in the AFC. With a 10-6 record, the Chargers are the best of three wild-card teams thanks to a tiebreaker owned over the Baltimore Ravens.

This is the second playoff berth in a row in which the Chargers entered as the best wild card team as the team went 12-4 in 2018. They defeated the fourth-seeded Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Wild Card Round.

Who made the playoffs in the AFC?

The Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars all won their divisions and are seeded in that order. The Ravens and Miami Dolphins join the Chargers are the other two wild-card teams.
