2. K'Waun Williams

The Broncos have one of the best defenses in the league right now in terms of yardage allowed and points allowed per game. To be fair, Denver has played a collection of below-average quarterbacks, with the one good offensive team being the Las Vegas Raiders. Those 1-4 Raiders beat Denver and scored 32 points in the process.

The Chargers still have to respect the defense, especially in the secondary. Patrick Surtain is already one of the best corners in the entire sport while Justin Simmons is one of the best safeties and is returning from the IR this week.

If there is one area that the Chargers can attack in this game it is slot corner K'Waun Williams. Williams has been the weakest link of this Denver secondary and if the Chargers can scheme to attack him then we could see a lot of success in the passing game.

Per Pro Football Focus, the slot corner has allowed a 95.3 passer rating when targeted. Of the full-time starters on the Broncos' defense that is the worse and the hope is that Justin Herbert can inflate that number even larger.

If Keenan Allen returns from injury that will give the team a huge weapon as Allen could line up some in the slot to get this favorable matchup on key downs. The team also has the likes of Gerald Everett that could get matched up on him in certain situations and that to can be something that Herbert targets.

Heck, if Allen plays perhaps we will finally see the big game out of Josh Palmer that we have been waiting for all season because of this matchup. Either way, the Chargers are not going to have a lot of success if they are throwing at Surtain all night.
