Purdue CB Cory Trice

Cory Trice is my favorite third-round corner prospect if the Chargers don't take someone like Kansas State's Julius Brents in the second. 6'3", great frame, and a really physical presence in coverage. He's an incredibly solid tackler with just two missed in the entire 2022 season.

He's not the fastest straight-line corner but Trice posted a 9.65 RAS. His in-game fluid movement was backed up by great shuttle and 3 cone times.

TCU RB Kendre Miller

Keep the purple fever going, I guess. If the Chargers want to take a running back on day three, my favorite choice is TCU's Kendre MIller. If it weren't for the poor medical reports, it would probably be Tulane's Tyjae Spears. But Miller towards the end of round three would be a great get, especially if they wanted to perhaps trade back.

Miller has projectable size to be a workhorse back with quite a bit of explosiveness as one of the younger backs in this class. Over the course of his college career, he was 95th percentile in explosive run rate and 90th percentile in forced missed tackles.

He's the perfect round-three choice to complement Ekeler this year and prepare for an eventual future without him in 2024.
