There is a lot of buzz around the LA Chargers and the entire AFC West heading into the 2022 season. The Bolts have improved with two key additions of Khalil Mack and J.C. Jackson as well as the team's efforts to rebuild the defensive line in free agency.

The Denver Broncos fixed their biggest hole at the quarterback position, getting one of the best in the game in Russell Wilson. Las Vegas made a blockbuster trade by adding Davante Adams, as well as making an addition to the pass-rush in Chandler Jones. Kansas City is the one team that has gotten worse, but you can never count of Patrick Mahomes.

To separate themselves from the rest of the AFC West the Chargers are going to have to have a good showing in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Broncos do not have a selection until 64 while the Raiders' first pick is at 86. The Chiefs have two picks in the late first round, however, and are loaded with picks.
